Awesome place all around. Staff was great and so was the food. The owners were eating with some friends while I was there and they made an effort to make sure we had everything we needed and ask how we liked our food. I appreciate being treated that way and will recommend them to all my friends. Thanks for a great meal!
The food was outstanding!! And the owners are pretty incredible too. They gave us a free meal tonight, as we are Camp Fire Survivors. If you want to try something different and delicious visit this little gem in Santa Cruz!
I think I was expecting more from this place. So I have to say I was not too impressed with their food. It was just average.
We had the coconut shrimp for appetizer. I ordered the jerk shrimp and my husband got the jerk chicken. Again, food was ok. But definitely not something that It will make me go there again. I’ve been to a Caribbean restaurant before so this spot doesn’t seem to legit. Flavor/menu wise. Maybe just my feeling.
Service was good. They have a nice outdoor patio and some tables indoor. Patio is also dog friendly.
Great little spot that offers a wide variety of Jamaica cuisine. Nice indoor and outdoor seating. The outside area is dog friendly and the food is quite tasty and the house made sauces are delectable. I especially enjoyed the Habanero one. It does have a little kick, but goes so well with the ribs. I'll be back when I'm in town again.
This place was SO GOOD and so reasonably priced. I think it was $117 for four peoples meals + a bottle of wine and three beers. That’s basically unheard of in the Santa Cruz area. All of the food was soooo tasty too. We had the small Jerk Chicken, veggie tacos, the large goat plate, and the large ribs plate. Not pictures here are our fried plantains + jerk chips, which were so amazing as well. He portions are pretty large so we were all able to bring home leftovers as well!
Our service was excellent, and we were able to sit out on the patio while a solo reggae artist was playing. This was my first time here but they made a lifetime customer today. Will 100% be back and would 10/10 recommend checking it out.
