Woodstock's Pizza Santa Cruz

We love this place! We are not locals, but return often for the great pizza and atmosphere. We always get the wheat crust and have tried several of the specialty pizzas. They're all good! The staff are friendly and the service is fast. Great beer selection. There is a nice outdoor patio area with heaters, which is nice in the evening. We have also ordered takeout and it is consistently great.

A great atmosphere to hang out. Many friendly patrons but..
1. Service is Lackluster. The girl at the front counter on Sunday at 12:30 pm is a walking zombie.
2. There is very little interest shown in the faces of the people working there.
3. I don't eat meat. I know it's tough to make I/2 veggie w/o meat touching the other side. But oh well...

On the bright side , there were two employees moving around and talking to people with a smile on their face. The Greek salad was real good. The ice tea is probably one of the best I've had in a restaurant.

The RUSH pinball was lots of fun. Go and play.

We got a plain cheese to go. This is usually the best way for me to find out just how good a pizza is. The truth is this is good pizza with a great crust. The sauce is seasoned nicely with some spicy to it, cheese was a fine amount, the fold over crust was a nice touch. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this as a place to grab pizza but I also don’t feel like is the best pizza I’ve ever had. It’s good, not fantastic. 7.5/10.
The atmosphere seemed cool if you sit outside.

Anytime we are in Santa Cruz we stop in at Woodstock for pizza and beer. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. They really radiate the Santa Cruz atmosphere well. Eating outside on the patio at night is one of our favorite pastimes. You can’t go wrong with their Sriracha or Street Taco pizza.
