Bistro One Twelve at the Tannery

Address: 1060 River St unit 112, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Restaurant

“If you know my reviews, then you know I don't give out 5 stars very often. I'm not sure this place really deserves a full 5 stars, but it's the most enjoyable place I've been to since I arrived three months ago. Free ice water on tap. Clean. Good mocha. And great service this morning! The breakfast burrito was made well, just not the recipe I was hoping for. The cashier went out of his way to bring me 3 salsas, silverware, and cloth napkin. All things I could have done just fine on my own, but he went the extra mile and did so in a very unimposing way. I'll be back with friends.”

Chaminade Resort & Spa

Address: 1 Chaminade Ln, Santa Cruz, CA 95065, USA

Restaurant

“Wife and I needed a place to crash on a road trip from Los Angeles to Napa. Chaminade popped up on our radar and we booked. This place is exceptionally charming. The grounds are beautiful, naturally (being in Santa Cruz), but the forest drive to the entrance still enchants each time. The staff is as friendly as one could ask for. They directed us to an awesome pizzeria on Pacific for dinner (Pizza My Heart). This stopover in Santa Cruz itself, as well as Chaminade was random, but we’ll be returning specifically to stay here.”

Banana Joe's

“My fav place for delicious cheap food. Food with real quality ingredients. There was fast and courteous service. Prices are decent.”

Café Campesino

Address: 1130 Pacific Ave K1, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“It's the best pizza. It's just the best. As a former Santa Cruz and Chicagoan I suppose I have some pedigree in pizza eating if thats a thing? But wherever you're from or have eaten, this is the best pizza. I'm a thin crust guy so please take that into account. But seriously, this is the best pizza.”

Cafe Delmarette

Address: 1126 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Cafe Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Lots of healthy choices here that are very delicious. It's a small Cafe so in order to produce such good food they need to charge more. My bowl of soup, slice of bread with avocado and absolutely yummy spices, dessert and coffee crossed approximately $18 with the tip. I had to order this much food in order to be full because their portions are very small. Except for the soup. Here a hearty bowl of soup is really a hearty bowl of soup and is very fairly priced. I highly recommend this place”

Mutari Chocolate House & Factory

Address: 504 Front St A, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“Just the dopest spot for dessert. Really great atmosphere and the smell will blow your mind. Their chocolate is made completely from scratch. Starting from roast all the way through the temper and pour. They staff are great too. Knowledgeable and helpful. The brownies though. They showed me the meaning of life.”

Cold Stone Creamery

Address: 1129 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“Oh my goodness they have a dairy free Meyers Lemon sorbet mixed with strawberries that is absolutely scrumptious! It's been awhile since we could enjoy a place like this so it was a real treat to even have an option and then to have it be so heavenly is just fantastic!! Great for a summer afternoon stop!”

Cafe Gratitude

Address: 103 Lincoln St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Restaurant

“Really superb food, presentation is lovely, everything was very fresh and the recipes unique. I was really pleased with this restaurant. I drove over an hour to try it out and it was well worth it. The food was really well prepared and thoughtful. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were willing to make recommendations and adjustments for special diet. The ambience is cozy, romantic, comfortable. This is an actual fine restaurant with real vegan food not just salads. The menu has extensive choices. They also offer unique beverages. I had the Caprese sandwich made with cashew cream cheese, fresh tomatoes, spinach, and a salad. I was especially enchanted with their drunk menu and ordered an Effervescent. It was a delicious sparkling Ginger concoction. Dinners average about $13.00. we spent $35.00 on dinners, drinks, and bread for two of us. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

Pizza My Heart

Address: 1116 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“This place is fantastic! The pizza is great. The service is great. The place has a cool surfer vibe. You can buy a whole pizza or just get it by the slice. They include a slice of pizza with the purchase of any of their t-shirts. They even gave me a fat military discount (roughly 50% off!). If I could give more than 5 stars I would.”

Shogun Japanese Restaurant

Address: 1123 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Restaurant

“Honestly, way better than I was expecting. Quality of fish was good and the nigiri had nice presentation. However, the rice needs work. It was too sticky and loosely packed; our rolls were falling apart. Prices are surprisingly cheap though. Will probably return to see if the rice improves.”

Snap Taco

Kiantis Pizza & Pasta Bar

Address: 1100 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Restaurant

“Great food. Great service. The family size is perfect to share, if a couple can agree on their dish. I've had several pastas here and thought they were excellent! I haven't tried the pizza yet, oddly; as I'm a huge pizza fan. The pastas looked too good each time, so I'll need to get a pizza for take out! Nice garden mall location, on the main road. Very convenient. I usually find parking nearby, but am lucky! So if you're not, plan on parking a couple blocks away. This place would be fine for a romantic dinner or a family meal out too. There outdoor patio has some heated spots. So it's a versatile setting. Definitely worth trying this place!”

Hom Korean Kitchen

Address: 1102 Pacific Ave suite a, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Restaurant

“The food is really great here. The bowls are really super tasty. Get the tofu bowl! And they have an awesome sauce to go along with the food. Light and tasty. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Only issue for me is the floor - it's really spongey at points and has been slippery in the bathroom area every time I have gone in. I almost hurt myself last time I was here by slipping really hard. Restaurant would do well to have someone come in and reset the laminate.”

Surfrider Cafe

Address: 429 Front St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“This place has the coldest beer I’ve ever been served. The food was amazing! We tried burgers, salads, sweet potatoes fries, and a milk shake. Only suggestion would be fries should come with the burgers. Who serves a burger with no fries? Up the price a fraction and send the fries out to complete the burger experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place. We will be back on our next visit.”

Falafel House Downtown

Address: 113 Walnut Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

“Tasty dishes, variety, good prices... What's not to love? I've had the falafel plate, veggie combo, shawerma, and meat combo. They are all delicious! Highly recommend this great stop for a quick but filling and satisfying meal!”

Monster Pot

Address: 431 Front St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Restaurant

“Hidden in the corner behind Surfrider cafe. It is owned by the same folks as Betty's Noodles, so you know it will be good, and I am beyond excited for it to officially open. There doesn't seem to be any official eta on the opening.”

India Joze

Address: 418 Front St, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Restaurant

“Good place for quality asian food. I often meet people here to talk. Service is typically good. The prices are fair for the quality of food. Atmosphere is like a restaurant in Fort Worth I loved.”

The Sandwich Spot

Address: 1010 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Restaurant

“Good sandwich, like Quiznos. Enjoyed the bread. Austire interior. Could be cleaner. 2 sandwiches will set you back 1/2 a PS4 game.”

Five Guys

Address: 1101 Pacific Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“The other night I came here after I gathered enough pocket change to purchase the unreasonably expensive 'small fries' which were too salty. Luckily I was fortunate enough to see that the store had available free peanuts in crates. I stood around the peanut crate for almost two hours until I felt I got my moneys worth. I made sure to fill my pockets just before they closed. Paid off, I'll say.”
