“The first impression of this place was unfortunately the restroom. One of the unisex bathrooms had it's toilet seat sprayed with fecal matter. Not the most appetizing thing to see right before eating. It was cleaned up fairly promptly. The service wasn't great. Two of our party ordered beer and wine which was served quickly but we had to ask a second time for waters. An order of fresh fish was served half cooked. The server took the fish away while leaving the rest of the food on the plate. Not great for a $30 entree. The fish tacos were good. The fish and chips were tasty. The calamari was decent but seemed a little over cooked and small in size.”

“We just arrived in Santa Cruz last night and decided to have breakfast at this cozy little restaurant! So glad that we did! The food was delicious! Very fresh veggies piled high on the plates too! My husband got a cinnamon roll (which was a little different than where we come from! There wasn’t any icing on it, but it was really good!) and a ham and cheese omelet. I got the loaded spuds and loved them! It was a big enough portion so I can eat some for a snack later! We look forward to eating here again!”

“Super yummy Burger! One of the best I've had in a long time. This was the first time I've been to Jack's, as usually they're closed by the time we head out to the Nickelodeon, right around the corner. We happened to catch them less than 10 minutes before closing and they delivered 2 delicious cheeseburgers and an order of fries very quickly and didn't seem to be bothered that we showed up moments before closing. We definitely will come back and try more items on the menu.”

“My biggest problem at the crepe place was trying to decide what I'd have. All told I sampled two soups, a salad, the crepe special, and a special called chicken waffle fries. The end result being that now I have to go back and try everything on the menu because it was phenomenal and I highly recommend you do too.
