“Oyunaa is a little different than your run of the mill esoteric restaurant. Some dishes have a Russian influence (пельмени and Боршь) but the dumplings look like the Shanghai dumplings you'd get at a dim sum place. It's all very tasty. The wait was not so bad although we did go pretty early. The portions are actually pretty decent. Just enough to not be hungry anymore but not big enough that you need to bring it home, so pretty much just right.”

“There was a long wait to be seated, but the food was decent when we got it. The Caesar salad was good. Also got the truffle gnocchi which was really light and fluffy, and had a great truffle flavor. We got the chicken parm too which was pretty basic, but still good. The portions here are big, and we couldn’t finish everything in the end. This place is not as good as the reviews make it seem, but still a decent Italian place in Santa Cruz”

“I can't tell you that I'm big on Thai food or Asian food I'm not a guy that likes to try or go out of my comfort zone. That being said I found a plate they're called sizzling and I've got to say that it was to die for, it was awesome. As I said I don't like to go out of my comfort zone especially when I'm out eating at a restaurant it's costing me money. Maybe there were three things that I would really enjoy but this plate I recommend it to anybody if you like me meet. Oh and get rice with it, I didn't order rice because I thought it came with it.”

“This grocery store is a true gem! I love supporting local businesses and Staff of Life has been in Santa Cruz since the 70s. Very cool! They have an amazing selection of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables. Seriously have the best strawberries in the summer. The store is pretty big and has any food you could possibly need, mostly organic and natural versions. They also have a fresh food section which I haven’t tried out much. I love the deli also, they have a great selection of pasture raised meat.”

“I've only been to Parish Pub a few times, but the food and service has been always excellent. It's a labyrinthine pub with several levels and has nice decor and really gives you that old time pub feeling. It's right near my house so it's my local place. I believe it is the old train station building from back in the day when trains were the mode of travel for long distance. It's fairly new within the last couple of years, but quickly turned into a local watering hole and the vibe is quite nice.”
