Ming's Palace Restaurant

I've been coming to m i n g s restaurant since 1981 it's unbelievable that it's still there and it has great Chinese food I used to order take out here all the time it is a wonderful cozy place

A lovely oasis! Many options, great service, yummy dishes

I have lived in the area since 1992 and between 1992 and 1996 lived in soquel while single parenting two kids. We went to Ming's palace a lot. The food was always decent and reasonable in price. I have since moved to Aptos and hadn't been to Ming's for a long time and was happy to find that they had updated the decor and the place was a lot cleaner and the menu was also updated. But mainly the food was better than before. Not the best in the area but pretty darn good. I especially like the Smoky flavor of the fried rice.

Just had lunch here today and it was excellent! I ordered the Hunan beef lunch plate and was not disappointed. I will be returning to try more dishes.

Better than the last time I went, after the long-time owners sold. They have reintroduced the crispy chicken with broccoli, very good. It comes with a sweet garlic sauce over coated fried bonless chicken breasts. It's always been one of my favorite dishes there.
