We were there for a music event. We had cocktails and beer, no food.
Did see food coming out of the kitchen for the most part it looked and smelled decent. Although there was a deep fried prawn/shrimp dish that smelled like old frozen seafood or old oil.
Once we have dined here I will edit or give another review.
One waitress for rhe entire room, drinks and food orders and service, handing out menus; everything. She's a pro but I still was careful not to dawdle on my order out of concern that I would hold her up. I've gone there for years... typical....but I sure miss the previous chef. .food is now so lackluster!
In the days of spring through summer nights this place is normally rocking with local artists with various styles of music and musicians. There are two bars located on the premises that are large and clean. Very small bathrooms add the place is rather old, however the outside seating in the rear of the building is large as accommodating. Service is average and the prices are decent.
The setting was lovely and private, having arrived earlier than literally anyone. We got to enjoy the sunset by the creek and under a warm heater. The food was not amazing but definitely solid and welcomed nourishment. More pub food than restaurant food. Good beers on draft from local breweries.
