La Marea Of The Sea

We really love La Marea. They have a taco stand at the Cabrillo College Farmer's Market, so when they opened a restaurant we knew it would be great - and it is. The covered patio is comfortable for dining outside, and the weather in Corralitos is usually perfect for that. If you're a bicyclist, it's at great location for a mid-ride meal. Check it out.

New restaurant in Corralitos. The Chile Verde was nice. Homemade tortillas were small but tasty. Service was friendly but needs a little work. Sat on the patio with my wife and dog 🐕. Very pleasant and covered from the sun. The fish tacos were very good.

We were so excited to try the place. There was an odd musty odor when we sat down inside. The menu looked great and tried several things. We had to ask for more chips, then more salsa, a glass for the canned soda then ice for the soda. 3 of the entrees came out and my friends waited for me, I told them to go ahead. My prawns came almost 10 minutes later when they were close to be done. The Chile Releno batter was greasy and the cheese not melted just a chunk of it. The beans were dried out. We finished our lunch and wanted to catch up on our summer. No one ever came back to see how we were doing, if the food was great or cleared any of the plates.We sat for another half hour visiting .But when we went to pay there were 4 people at the front. Then one split off to clean the table.
Maybe it’s a better experience if you have been to the farmers market or pop up and you have a connection. We got home still a little hungry and had a trusted hagendazz bar.

Loved everything we ordered. Ordered an extra round of their homemade tortillas to go! Delicious, fresh food. Friendly and fast service. We will definitely be back. Welcome to the neighborhood La Marea!!

This place is amazing! Fresh seafood, oyster bar. We had the shrimp empanadas & the beer battered fish tacos. Delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back.
