Black Bear Diner

We were very impressed with this diner! It's got a lot of charm with it's decor and aged building establishment. My kids loved the bears all over the place. We had a phenomenal waitress and picked food that was just what we wanted and more. I got the tuna salad - so good and quite big! My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and was in paradise the whole meal. And our kids mowed down their crispy corn dogs. Happy fam all around! Quit reading reviews and just go!

The gluten free bun was perfectly delicious! It held together through my entire hamburger as well. The fryer is not dedicated so I got a side salad instead of French fries. Just talk to your server about any dietary restriction, Black Bear is always good about accommodating.

Busy comfort food place. LARGE portions. Had their newer crispy chicken cob salad. Lots of service from everyone with ice tea refills quickly. Salad croutons way oversized cuts of their cornbread was sweet.

Nice. I had the cheeseburger, which was a solid choice. They do not hold back on portions. I opted for the 5 oz burger rather than the normal 9 oz burger. I also got enough fries to choke a horse. Decent prices and a friendly waitress who checked up on us frequently. I recommend the huckleberry shake.
