The Farmhouse

This was a find on my trip to the Sierra Hot Springs. Across the street from the Globe Hotel, this is one of three resturants "in town." Had breakfast and lunch here. The food is off the chain!

The owner/chef is a BBQ champion and it shows. The bacon, sausage and tritip were some of the best I've eaten. The sides were well-seasons. The desserts are also really tasty.

Staff are super sweet and happy to give pointers about great places to visit in the area.

They only do dinners on Mondays. We will definitely be making it up for a Monday night treat soon.

Just delightful! You can taste the love that the chef puts into the food here….highly recommend making the stop in Sierraville and supporting this lovely restaurant.

Stopped in today for some lunch. I am a bit spoiled when it comes to BBQ, especially pulled pork. Well this place is hands down one of the best places to get a pulled pork sandwich. The people are so nice. The atmosphere is great. We will definitely be back. Oh and their friends were on point! See you soon

ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN DELICIOUS. I had a sandwich and my friend had the peanut butter burger. Seriously good food. I heard a rumor that the Monday night dinners are Amazing. Talk of the town good. It's a must try when Traveling through the most beautiful valley in all the sierras and arguably the most gorgeous valleys in all of California on most spring and fall days.

Wonderful food, wonderful people. Went with my family on vacation in Sierraville. That night they had pork schnitzel and strawberry shortcake for dessert. It was all delicious. They were very accommodating with our young kids. Loved it.
