J & D Family Diner

Great place for breakfast! The service was excellent and attentive. The food was better than your typical diner. Wish we weren't just visiting the town.

Very busy the day we came in service wasn't very good. We had to ask for our menus and ask to take our orders. But the food was delicious!!! I had the sandwich breakfast and my fiance had the chicken fried steak

Called in about 20 minutes before breakfast ends because I NEEDED a chicken fried steak and they had this ready for me right as I was getting in. Owe them a review since they had me set up in the most beautiful spot with amazing lighting. Thank you guys! Morning and week all made awesome in a matter of minutes. Not only that but it really is the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. Stuffed hash browns, to die for.

Went to J&D Family Diner Saturday morning around 10 am. They were packed. When I sat down I had to wait about 30 min before my order was taken. Waitress was busy sitting more people down and getting very body drinks instead of taking my order first. Food took about 15-20 min to come out. Portions are big and the food was delicious. Overall worth the wait but service could have been better. I had to ask for coffee refill several times and no one asked me how my food was and if I needed anything else. This is the reason I took away one star.

Great place to eat, seems to be clean and the waitress is always so nice to us, even remembers her Gluten Free customers. We eat there about once a month when we visit Yreka and we're never disappointed.
