Buon Appetito

This was recommended to me today, so I took my mom for lunch. Typically, I am disappointed with Italian restaurants. There was not much expectation. Today was different! I had the seafood linguine and they were kind enough to take out the clams and mussels for me. The calamari tasted frozen, but everything else including the pasta was cooked to perfection. I ate all the seafood out first, so I did not fill up on pasta. The whole dish was well balanced. My mom had the angel hair pasta with tomatoes and basil. We could not have been happier. They make their own bread and garlic spread, also very good and warm. Portions were decent and price was reasonable. Lunch cost a bit over 30 dollars. Totally worth it. After you can walk it all off strolling down 1st street or visiting the park across the street. Cannot wait the take my husband. Would make a wonderful date night or anytime you wanted comforting food to brighten your day. I left happy and content. ❤

It's a small cozy place. However the portions are pretty small and during my visit they were out of most of the beers. Food tastes pretty good though

Good food. Service, not so much. To be fair, apparently someone on staff was a no show. However, everything was very disorganized. For example, they had no clean wine glasses, so they had to wash some for us. Worst was everyone's entree came but mine. It was at least a 10 minute wait. When the check came there was nothing taken off. When we pointed that out they did remove the $10 corkage a a few dollars off my entree. The place needs some management and attention (the wall next to us needed to be washed and/or painted. Too bad given we liked the food. Maybe takeout is a better way to go?

Very good Italian food with good menu. Food very fresh well prepared and presented. Good service good wine selection
