Amar Indian Cuisine & Banquet

I’ve lived in NYC and SF and this was the best Indian food I ever tasted. The buffet was incredible and it had so many options for our whole family including my vegan daughter. The desserts were a great surprise and unique—my first taste of avocado mousse!! I couldn’t get enough. The service was so friendly as well.

Wow! This is the best food I've ever eaten...and I'm not fond of Indian food! It's downtown Main St which is quaint and plenty of free street parking. The chef is amazing. Each dish is like art, beautiful. But it smells divine too. And the taste is beyond anything I've ever eaten (sorry mom!). There were two t.v.s in our side of the restaurant (there are two large partitioned rooms). Both were low volume; one sports and the other really interesting Indian dance and music. I couldn't watch the dance because I wanted to look at the food...truly amazing. The waiters were awesome. My partner requested something not on the menu, and even though it was near closing time, they made it for us in very little time. And they hit the "moderate spicy" request right on the mark. Fortunately, they kept the water glasses full. This is hands down the best restaurant I've ever been to. Prices were average, but you get so much more! Next time I'll go when I'm actually hungry and order twice as much.

Delicious Indian flavors!!! The Indian dishes ,and Mango drink was Outstanding. This restaurant serves Northern and Southern Indian dishes. The service was also great!!! I look forward to coming back.

This was the first time I’ve visited this restaurant. Our friends invited us there . I personally thought the food was Ok . Staff were nice and the place was clean . It was a friendly atmosphere. Only issue is that the waiter kept asking each person if we wanted rice with our plates . He did not mention to us that each rice bowl serves 2 or 3 people , maybe more if you don’t eat a lot . So we ended up ordering around 3 extra rice plates that no one wanted .
