This Teriyaki joint is just alright. First, the positives. They give you very nice portions of meat and rice. The menu is right there on the wall with large pictures, which makes it easy to see what you're getting. The staff were very friendly and quick to service. This little Teriyaki joint does a lot of things right. Now for the negatives. The minor issue is they don't run the A/C. Having visited Beijing, this is a common thing in Asian restaurants that carries over to here. However, I find the swampiness choking. Unless you're used to it, I can't really recommend dining in if it's remotely hot outside. The major and most important issue is the food. Out of all the Teriyaki places I've been to, this one is among the worst. The presentation is not the nice strips of chicken you'd expect--rather, you get a bit of chicken "pieces" from strips, chunks, and small pieces. It makes me wonder the quality of the chicken they're buying. I couldn't tell because sauce they covered it had a very unbearable and over powering flavor. I must warn you, if you're expecting certain dishes like "BBQ Sauce" teriyaki to taste like BBQ Sauce, you're in for surprise because there's a unique take on their flavor profiles. For example, the BBQ Sauce is very very sour. If you're going to order here, I'd recommend playing it safe and ordering the plain teriyaki with sauce on the side. I dislike giving small restaurants like this meh reviews because I enjoy the variety small businesses offer. However, this little restaurant needs some work.

Sam's daughter runs the restaurant now and does a good job of it, we don't have to order she knows what we want and how we want it. Very nice lady and great service.
