Clove Fish & Chicken

I went there for lunch with my girlfriend. The owner was very nice and welcoming. We ordered the chicken tenders, catfish combo and the prawns. The tenders were bigger than I was expecting and were super juicy and delicious and yge food was still freah after a 20 minute drive home. I'm happy I tried the food here and we will be going back.

Our new go to fish n chip place! I'm so glad my husband suggested we try a new place for our lunch today. We got the Double Catch with 2 pieces of cod, 6 shrimp, which comes with fries and your choice of veggie/side (we chose zucchini). We also added an additional 2 pieces of fish and 3 shrimps for an additional cost. The portions are absolutely huge! This could easily feed a family of 4 or 3 really hungry adults.
All of their sauces are house made, ranch, tartar, Cajun, creamy mint, and some others. The Cajun is our favorite dip for sure!

The batter on these is just right, not too thick or thin, flavor isn't overpowering not oily. The fish is thick and juicy, the shrimps are also on the large side. The zucchini is sliced thinner but it's better than a thick undercooked piece, they still have body and texture.

Please please remember, if you get this as take out it will be soggy and alter the flavors and textures overall. Highly recommend eating this in the restaurant while it's still fresh.

We tried this place on a whim because we were craving chicken strips. Both my husband and I got the 4pc chicken strip combo with fried broccoli. Everything was very fresh and good, I just wish the fries were a bit crispier and maybe cooked longer, and had seasoning. Same with the broccoli. It would be super good if they had some kind of seasoning on all the fried/battered things. Not sure if they even had salt. We got our chicken strips plain which were good, I just wish the other fried things had more flavor. The service was good, everyone was very nice. They also gave us a small side of coleslaw for free to try which was good and tasted fresh. Only other thing is I wish it was cleaner, all the tables had crumbs on them. If there's no customers and all the tables are dirty, it makes me question the cleanliness of the restaurant in general.

Foods taste great everything is fresh from fish to the vegetables definitely coming back. Ordered the double catch with 2 pcs cod , jumbo prawns , chips , coleslaw , zucchini.

Their chicken strips are absolutely amazing. Tender juicy and very flavorful. I always get the lemon pepper tenders with hush puppies instead of fries and veggies. 10/10 must try!!!
