El Azteca

Excellent as Always! Great food and service.

My family moved to Vacaville in 1981. My dad always used to like to try different places to eat. We certainly had our favorites in San Bernardino, and we needed to find new favorites. El Azteca is in a (formerly very busy) shopping center on Peabody Rd. It's kinda tucked away in the back; a hidden gem totally worth finding! There is a new sign right up front listing all the places in that center now. The restaurant has recently done some upgrades, with the booths. (Nice!) I remember that if we had family visiting from out of town, we definitely hit up El Azteca.
The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. They have daily specials, lunch buffets, and I've tried almost everything on the menu. My goto is #14 (2 enchiladas, rice and beans). My very favorite is the camarones del ajo. I've introduced many of my friends to my family favorite spot, and we've gone back many times.
The waitresses are always super friendly, and check on you to see if you need beverage refills, more chips, more salsa, etc.
I highly recommend El Azteca.

Pleasantly surprised. Tacos were great and a good deal on Taco Tuesdays! Friendly service too.

Josie and her staff are outstanding! I called to ask for chicken soup and she made me a fresh bowl. It was delicious, her service cooking and her staff are outstanding... I feel like family when I eat there. I highly recommend.

Excellent service throughout our time there. Food was HOT and FRESH. Many restaurants in the area could learn from them. Definitely very back
