The "Bigfoot" breakfast was awesome, as was all the food we ordered this morning. The service was great! It was a pleasant dinning experience. Well worth the short wait to get a table!
The service was quick and the food was good. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Only negative was they didn't ask how we wanted the tri - tip cooked. They did ask how we wanted the burger cooked though.
No matter the Black Bear I visit, the food is always what I ask for and my drink is always full.
Remember, it's a family style diner, not a 4 star establishment.
It's a comfy place for comfort breakfast food.
Food is good and there is plenty of it. My husband said it is the best pancake he has ever had. You could easily share a breakfast between two people. Service was good and people were friendly. Reasonably priced food. The desserts looked great - maybe we'll try them next time!
We went to Vacaville Black Bear Diner and the food, so many choices. The menu is huge. The service is very good. We went there specifically for the Rib Eye Steak Dinner...this is the best in town..I ask for medium well, and I got just what I wanted. It was so tender could almost cut with fork. You get choice of sides and biscuits. We ordered 2 exact steaks. You will have great selection of desserts..even bread pudding my favorite. We have been cutting back on red meats, but these were our treat..Breakfast selection is out of sight the variety and size. You can down size on some selections, smaller portion and smaller price. Coffee really good. I enjoy family relaxed setting. It close to freeway exit with lots of parking...Must go to Black Bear. I sure you will enjoy!
