Sac's Tasty Hot Dogs

service was A-1 and place was super clean organized and cozy but Honestly I didn't think the chili was flavorful at all and hot dogs were bland and kind of cold

Update: I have visited Sac's several times during 2018 and I admit the service has been exceptional and the ordering process was efficient and effective. Therefore, I upgraded my rating to five stars.

When I first arrived, the line was out the door. Don't worry, it moves fast.

They make your dogs to right in front of you and you can choose from a preset menu or you can make your own. I got the original but with a hot link, added Mayo and ketchup. Also got a chili cheese dog with everything.

Both were about 5 - 6 bucks. That's it. In a world that charges for sauce, I was so pleasantly surprised with the price and the quality ingredients.

The chili cheese dog was awesome. The hot dog itself is a normal size, and it didn't fill the bun, but it tasted great. The chili was good, not salty as normal places - so you know that they made this and it wasn't from out of a can. They stacked the freshly grated cheese with onions and tomatoes and some mustard. OMG that was so good.

The hot link was great.. had a good crunch and the ingredients are spot on. Loved it.

Wonderful customer service with a smile and awesome place. I'm from Walnut Creek, and will travel this far to get a Sac dog any time.

Sac's Tasty Hot Dogs is by far is one of the places to go for an awesome cheese dog. For the past 20 plus years Uncle Sam has sent me all over the world and whenever I am visiting my family I make it a point to go there at least once (sometimes more when time allows) while I am home. There are a lot of hot dog places around the world but nothing has ever measured up to a Sac's hot dog. I'll be coming back out in two weeks for the birth of my first grandchild and you can bet I'll be going to Sac's while I am there.

do it NOW.!! You'll be addicted.. As you come in the door old fifties style memorabilia fills the walls. Old Diner style booth's..The Customer service is the best you'll find ..And if You're lucky you might catch the owner..
