This is a great neighborhood institution in Vallejo and the burgers are fantastic and very reasonably priced. I love a good family restaurant and it's not often that you get to sit in a place and hear "Your Obama on a waffle is ready!" The service is friendly; you are greeted immediately, shown the Specials board and shown the menu. Definitely not a place to go to if you are on a diet, but if you are craving a hearty meal in a warm, family environment - My Homestyle Cafe is the place to go!

My wife and I split a Philly cheese steak with garlic fried, then peach cobbler. The two sister's are the bomb. Yvonne and Nay Nay. Thouroly enjoyed ourselves. When we left they said come home anytime. We were so welcomed.

The food is delicious, the lady who runs it is so very nice and the prices are great! What's not to love about this place?
I first came here three years ago and have wanted to come back ever since. This is such a wonderful, home like place. I can't recommend it enough!

Great food at a great price. Over easy eggs were cooked perfectly. Omelet was very tasty. The sourdough bread was amazing! Had a waffle as well, crunchy outside and a nice soft inside. It was perfect. Had a side of grits with the meal, my Southern grown wife soundly approved of them! A must visit!
