Service is good. Food is solid. Pies are super but they do sell out, and my kids love the variety of milkshakes. The turkey in lettuce leaves for appetizer is really good. My boys love their breakfasts as well. It's a very comfortable place as well. If you want good food at a decent place with efficient service, this place will do the trick.....just remember parking is limited and most of time it's pretty full. Parking is my only real isdue here

Nice local East Bay chain. Good alternative to Denny's. It features a full bar and Happy Hour from 7-10 am on weekdays! Worth a try.

My husband and I decided to go to the Buttercup for my birthday dinner recently. My prime rib was perfectly medium rare and the price was very reasonable. Meatloaf was my husband's choice and he was quite happy with it. Service was very good. I have never been disappointed with any meal there. The food is always delicious. P.S. Best. Mozzarella.Sticks. Ever. Huge and made fresh.

Big place, big menu and delicious food!! Been twice now and it is a quick love!! So much to choice from and we were all so happy with the taste and freshness. Clean and appealing atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service. We loved Melissa todau.. it was busy but she took excellent care of us. I highly recommend the cheese cake with blueberries on the side. I was so full when I left but already dreaming of the yummy food!! Highly recommend.

Great service and prompt response. The server I had was kind of tired so she keep forgetting things here and there but overall everything was good. Definitely I will recommend this place over Denny's which had a very bad waiting not only on sitting but, also in sending a waiter to serve a table;
