The Sardine Can

My friend took me out for a lunch a few days ago. Looked over the menu and decided to try The avocado crab sandwich. It was very bland. I kept meaning to reach for the pepper and salt. The fries were good. The place seemed cute, my window view was the water and some boats. The floors were dirty with food. I think their may have been one waitress at the time.

Small restaurant perfect for a quick lunch. But nothing amazing here. The plates are big. I had some rice with shrimps, only 2 big shrimps in the plate. Service was a bit long

Great little place by the water. No it's not a suit and tie kind of place but you could if you wanted to. We spent many birthdays there, and recently with family after a memorial. Plenty of tables. Rustic with tables with water side view. Some large group tables with benches. And outdoor table's in nice weather. If you have a large group you can call ahead. Always great service and good food.

We just moved to Vallejo recently, and we were looking for a nice place on the waterfront to share with family and friends. We will definitely be back to share the experience! This place has excellent seafood and comfort food, kind and attentive service staff, and a beautiful view of the boats and water on the river front. My husband's grilled cheese had a crispy crust of cheese on the outside of the sandwich. My grilled crab melt was exquisite--I couldn't resist finishing the entire thing. I can't wait to visit for the live music!

Great people, local and friendly. Felt like they were very glad to serve me and see me. Great atmosphere and nice entertainment. Recommend highly.
