    Neat spot. Good food. I ordered the chicken fried steak special. Generous portions of sides of mashed potatoes and collard greens. Came with cornbread. The steak itself was a little small, but I saw other plates that seemed to have large portions [fried chicken and meat loaf). The cornbread is not the sweet kind, like in the south. I loved the decor. One caveat--i recommend ordering ahead if you can. I waited for 15-20 minutes for my plate, and it didn't appear to be very busy. Maybe not so big a problem if you have longer than a half hour for lunch break.

    1st time with my family here. The food was GREAT!! The people are super friendly. Love it and would recommend.

    The food and service was great. Best fried chicken I have ever had. Loved the greens and mac n cheese. The corn bread was so good.

    Service was a little slow but the food was on point! Will be bringing the whole family back! Such sweet people makes you feel right at home!

    After driving by for the last 40 years it was our first time there tonight. I had Chicken Fried Steak, rice and gravy and green beans. It was all homemade and very good. Hubby had fried chicken with mac and cheese and greens. He kept saying this is so good. We will be coming back for sure (and won't wait another 40 years) to try some other menu items.
