The food is really good!! I got the BBQ mix platter and the beef and ribs are melt in your mouth! It was so delicious. My S/O got tonkotsu ramen, and said it was really good. They let you pick the level of spicy you want it to be.

The downfalls are the music is really loud and so it makes conversations and ordering difficult. The utensils are super flimsy. There isn't a fountain drink, so you'll have to buy bottle drinks. Also felt weird getting a to go box for my platter, when my S/O got a really nice dish.

    I'll definitely be returning!

Commercial type Ramen. Really not their specialty. Tonkatsu didn't melt in your mouth, soup wasn't creamy like being simmered for 24hrs, egg wasn't marinated. But, it was good for what it is. My wife ordered seafood ramen. She said her's was very good. We also order Kaarage Chicken which was excellent. Dipping sauce was tasty.

You can tell a lot about a ramen place by it's simplest dish, the shoyu ramen. I thought it was a very balanced flavor. Broth was on the colder side and didn't heat the chashu or the bean sprouts enough. Takoyaki was not very good as it was lacking mayo and had too much ginger. The whole grilled squid was very good. They add a bit of matcha to the green tea and really helps round out all the flavors found in the ramen.

More of a Hawaiian bbq place than ramen. Since its name is "Ramen 101" I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. I would agree with the review that said, "not authentic Japanese. Chashu is dried. Egg has not been cooked in soy sauce. Noodle texture is too soft and has no taste."

I want to add that the broth was pretty good and hot. But the chashu was dried and cold. The egg was also cold. The broth was not hot enough to heat them up.

    2 star for ramen
    3.5 star for Hawaiian bbq
