The food was decent, albeit nothing spectacular. We made a reservation for six people. Several tables were full but there appeared to be only one server. Not sure if the other guy was a manager or the owner but he could've helped. We waited a very long time for everything. The table water was lukewarm but good luck asking for, or getting, ice. The server tried, but he was balancing the entire dining room. Also, although no fault of management, the table next to us was so loud that we could barely hear each other. Honestly, if we don't have another option, we might go back. Food was overpriced for taste and quality.
Absolutely killer good stuff. The waiter's memory is on the verge of freaky! He remembered us from a month earlier, down to the wine we liked and the meals we ordered! He was just amazing, along with the food and wine. The Barberra wine was the best!
Happened upon this place while staying in the area to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. While we arrived at the restaurant still disgruntled from an earlier bad lunch somewhere else, this dinner experience instantly cheered us up! The service was friendly and efficient, the food was delicious with perfectly sized portions, and the ambiance was as about as perfect as you can get. We sat outside beneath the soft patio lights, listening to the trickle of the creek, the chirp of the crickets, and some gentle music. And the weather (which I know the restaurant has no control over) was the kind where it's so nice you can't even feel it on your skin. Inside seating looked nice as well. Finished the evening with a lovely espresso and gelato. Highly recommend!
Edit: a deer just wandered through the creek, this is awesome
This place was a fantastic way to signs my first anniversary with my wife! The food was incredible, (I got the lasagna and meatballs... Killer...) the service was top notch, and the ambiance is perfect. Crickets, creek side, Italian music lightly playing on the patio... I highly recommend checking it out!
We had our Christmas party here last year and have been back for happy hours and dinners. The owner/chef is a ball of fun and energy. Be prepared for good food and a good time.
