“Great public beach spot for swimming and hanging out! There was a little food shack and a place to rent tubes, chairs, kayaks, umbrellas, etc. Busy on a holiday weekend but still plenty of room to spread out. Close to the town which was so quaint and busy! $7 parking by the beach and free in other spots if you can get them. Public restrooms nearby but they are not clean. Great day trip from the bay area for all ages!”

“I have never stayed in a room at R3 mostly because I live a couple blocks away. But my friends have stayed plenty of times and refuse to stay anywhere else. The all love it and they have been coming up for over 20 years. So, I would give that a top rating. R3 is always my first choice of the clubs in Guerneville. I feel welcome and I am treated with kindness & respect. The new restaurant is super good and you get quite a bit of food for your money. The prices are affordable. The pool is amazing, the bar, is amazing, the shows are amazing! What else is there??? Did I say the whole place is AMAZING? 💖😉🌞 Have fun 🌞”

“This restaurant just opened (or re-opened) last month (April 2022) and replaced Betty Spaghetti. It is run by the same people who run Rio Cafe in Monte Rio. It is located inside the R3 Hotel resort, a favorite destination for gay couples. We arrived at the restaurant for lunch, in the middle of a drag show. Quite fun! The fare is mainly sandwiches and burgers, with extras like fish tacos. Not much choice for vegetarians, but if you like a good reuben...”

“We were really excited to try this place, as it looked lovely from the road! The atmosphere and cocktails are excellent. We had only lovely interactions with the servers and staff. However, we were underwhelmed by the mussels, cod, and potato leek soup, though really liked the pork chop! For the prices they charge ($35-$38 for a main), we felt like the meal didn’t live up to our expectations. Ultimately I wouldn’t recommend it unless the menu improves.”

“I got a classic burger, pepper jack instead of beer cheese, cooked medium well. I have to say, every person I've talked to who works here is cheerful, friendly, and a pleasure to interact with. But back to the food. When I opened the box, I thought there weren't very many fries, but once I poured them onto a plate I realized I was wrong; it was that the box they came in was huge. This is my very favorite type of fry: squishy, bendy, with some substance to them. These fries were delicious, it was hard for me to slow down once I started on them. The burger is also really good. I'm not well versed in different types of breads, but theirs isn't the run of the mill hamburger bun. Whatever fancy bun they use really added to it. The toppings were a bit lacking (I would have wanted a few more pickles and more lettuce and tomato), but they're still pretty new. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Again, the burger looks kind of small, but only because it's enveloped by the bun. I'm looking forward to trying their portobello burger.”

“The food here tastes great. We had the fish and chips and chicken fried chicken. Huge portions, that we're very delicious. The service was friendly, but slow. We weren't disappointed. It was nice to sit and talk, but you might prepare for wait time. Expect a laid back, friendly atmosphere. The menu is a bit expensive, but the portions more than make up for the cost. You really could split any of the entrées, they're that large (for our liking, anyway). I give it a four only because some people might want to get in and out faster and you won't likely find that here.”

“My wife and I have been going to Betty's for 2 years now. JC was our first waiter and since then we always request his section. Alisa waited on us tonight and she's a great waitress too. I had spaghetti tonight for the first time, very good. My ultimate favorite is (seasonal) crab with angel hair pasta, so much crab! Pot roast is another favorite. We really enjoy the dining and farm to table experience. You get to enjoy your appetizers and then your meal comes. None of this appetizers come and 2 minutes later here's your dinner. Just pure relaxation and enjoyment!”

“Great restaurant and we could sit outside with our dog. Restaurant staff was very attentive and customer friendly. Wish I could say the same about the hotel staff-but very unfriendly and quite useless either on the phone with not returning messages as well as at the front desk. We stayed here several years ago and had a much better experience. This is quite a large establishment and during our 2 day stay I believe there were only one or two other guests so it wasn't like they were too busy. Maybe they weren't very busy because of the poor service. What a shame because the location and the rustic atmosphere are quite appealing.”

“Came for the first time on a Friday night around 6:45pm. Was a good time because it got pretty full about 30 minutes after we arrived. Despite there only being one waiter and the host, service was excellent and food was delicious. I got the seared hangar steak and my partner got the fish. We also shared the cauliflower gratin and warm kale salad. The host put logs in the fireplace and got the fire started a few minutes after we sat down. Place is elegant but also cozy. There's a piano by the bar (which is separate from the main dining area) but nobody was playing it that night. I imagine the menu changes with the seasons because it was a one-page paper menu. Would return again/recommend.”
