Valiantly recovering from the 26 Feb 2019 flood just six weeks ago, this friendly inn is manned by an energetic, super friendly team who are clearly passionate about their location, food and drink. There's a real buzz about the place. Plonked hard against the river bank and hemmed in by enormous sequoias, it's an excellent location. All that positive energy can't hide that the building's fabric is flimsy wooden frames and basic tiles and fittings, while the bathrooms are nicely renovated, and the linen spotlessly white, theres a slight end of the world feel about this place. My guess however is that everywhere on the Russian River might feel that way too.

This is a great little B&B, with a scenic view of the Russian River.

Great view in the room. Service was nice. We really enjoyed the time and food here.
Room and facilities are dated a bit.

The inn is amongst the Redwoods beyond Guerneville near the Bohemian Grove on the Russian River. Prime rooms view the river with enough window to challenge a Manhattan high rise at least in room "D". The river which has the cleanest water, is shallow and no debris or odor. There are paddle boards to rent but not from the inn, across the way. Its not an action packed inn. A short stay and enjoy the fresh dinners, breads and desserts made daily. Not an abundance of menu items but that's the only way to have everything fresh. There are choice wines and couple tap beers have a night cap at the bar and enjoy.

BTW: The chop meal was top notch and larger than expected.

We love dinner on the deck overlooking the river. The food is always fabulous and we love chatting with the servers. A young cat had recently adopted the place and was hilarious and friendly. We enjoyed its antics between bites and taking in the view.
