East West Cafe

Sometimes, just because a place has been around a long time and you have enjoyed it many times, you forget to realize how amazing it is. On my last visit to this place, I was reminded. We had excellent service, wonderful food, a pleasant and inviting dining experience, and it's been happening there a long time! It's not a Mediterranean restaurant, or a Persian restaurant (as it is classified somewhere), it's more like a hippie, delicious, eat meat or not, restaurant that will satisfy everyone in the family.

I love this place. The food is delicious - great choices for vegetarian and vegan, but they also offer dishes with meat. My favorites are the falafel and sweet potato fries. The atmosphere is good and staff is very friendly. Good sized portions. I like their lunch specials with soup or salad and a half order of the dish of the day. Great value.

Always excellent, this is our go-to for Wednesday night date night. The salmon is fresh on Weds, the salads are ginormous. And delicious! Janna is an amazing server, too. Really, they are all great :)

The food was good. A bit expensive. The hummus is really flavorful. A handful of vegan options, a decent amount of vegetarian options, and lots of omnivore options. Decent (7/10) vegan chocolate cake. Crispy fries. Tasty falafel and pita. Great service. All servers and hosts were friendly. Our server, Aria, was very attentive even during what seemed like a busy dinner rush. There are two fireplaces set at about table height and interesting decorations and muted light in the dining area.

I love this place! Great tasting healthy food, generous quantities, reasonable prices, pleasant/pretty ambience, happy and friendly staff. This restaurant is a treasure. The owners treat us like family when we dine there too! East West is not pretentious, which is another attribute I appreciate, as I live in Napa Valley where nearly every business puts on airs.
