italian food and the atmosphere at this place is excellent. I will be back with my relatives. The bill was fair for the quality of the food. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.

Riviera is simply a favorite go-to for consistently good food and good service. No one makes a better carbonara! Their lasagna, their sauces, their presentation- it’s just totally enjoyable. No matter whether I go with a girlfriend, my husband, or group of friends we are never disappointed! Noticed today that they are kind of expanding outdoor seating - this has been the only thing that would improve our experiences here.

Authentic Italian family feel type restaurant. Delicious pastas and seafood. Creme brulee was also fantastic.

With another couple, we went to this restaurant on Valentines Day because we heard that this was the most romantic restaurant around. I think this would actually be a great way to market Riviera if they could change a few things. The Positives: We thought the food was really delicious -- and we are all foodies. The veal picatta and veal milanese were delicious. The salads and pastas were excellent. There is a good wine list. What could be improved: To get a reputation as the MOST romantic restaurant, the Riviera should hire a bartender and serve cocktails also (very profitable, also). And finally, the ambiance: consider removing the framed biking t-shirts. We know it is a good collection, but painting the walls of the main dining room in a similar way that the porch room is painted would improve the ambiance. Also, the lighting is just unusually stark and bright. Consider softening it, bringing the light down, and adding candles. The lighting is more cafeteria-like.We even mentioned this to the manager. That's my two cents.

Italian is my favorite, and it’s very hard to find anything authentic these days...well this is the spot! Make sure to have the antipasto to start your meal off right! Beautiful inside, but the best seating in the house, at least while the weather is decent, is outside on the patio. Perfect for a romantic dinner or just to relax after a long day. Make reservations on Fridays and Saturdays for sure, but you can generally walk-in anytime else.
