Fiori's Buns & Burgers

First time eater as I went in with a co-worker who had been here before. I ordered an Ortega burger and fries. This is not a fast food place and your order will take a few minutes for it to cook, but it is worth the short wait. Both Burger and fries were very good. It's hard to find crinkle french fries anywhere these days, but this place had them and I enjoyed them. As for the hamburger it was worthy of a billboard picture. And that's the good news.

The bad news is this was an expensive lunch. For the aforementioned items plus an iced tea the bill ran me $15 plus. That's almost exactly what Five Guys had charged me for basically the same thing. As good as my lunch was, I think it could have been a little bit cheaper. And I would be remissed not to point out that the inside dining area was filled with smoke from the kitchen and it was actually difficult to breathe in there. Fortunately it was a nice day and we were able to eat outside.

Overall I'd say this place is not a bad choice for a good lunch, but due to its prices I recommend you do it infrequently.

Waiting over 25 minutes for a burger when it's not very busy is pretty unacceptable and while we were warned...we didnt have time to go to another place before our show at the Wells Fargo Center. Food was good. SF Mint shake was better but the time it took which was closer to 30 mins was unacceptable and I didn't understand.

Great Burgers, but you have to try a wicked whip. Better than a milkshake and lots of flavors.
