Kancha - Champagne Bar & Tapas

The food is good and creative. We had some oysters, Causas with crabmeat topping (slightly spicy), pork belly sliders (not greasy), seared scallops (small portion), and steamed black code (best). The wine list is OK, champagne should *NOT* be this expensive for a place advertised as "Champagne Bar", that would be my gripe.

We decided to give it a try after seeing it driving by often. The menu sounds very impressive but the food lacked lustre across the board.

The mac and cheese was very basic and the pork belly addition was just ok. The golden beet salad was nice and unique.

The chicken empanadas are probably the best thing that we ordered, so if you end up here you should definitely try those.

With regard to the atmosphere it feels more like a coffee shop that was turned into a restaurant. There's a long bench-like couch which makes for an odd atmosphere when sitting next to others, it doesn't feel much like a great date spot or dinner with a significant other.

There are only two people that I could tell which maid service both for food, and drinks and ordering very slow.

Overall I'm glad that we tried it, unfortunately I don't think we'll be stopping by again.

I love this place. Great location, classy interior, unique food and drink menu. GREAT happy hour (which I am a huge fan of).

I love seafood and had to try the ceviche and octopus. I have a ton of food allergies (not exaggerating) and they were able to adapt and it was the best ceviche and octopus I have ever had. The ceviche had a great citrus flavor and the octopus was perfectly tendered and seasoned without being the slightest bit chewy. We also loved the flight options. The decor is very comfortable, and beautifully set up. We closed the place down and the chef and server were both so kind to let us wait until the rideshare picked us up. Ozzie (Archie) is so kind and welcoming. Next time I'm in Santa Rosa, I'm definitely going back.

Great vibe service is awesome our waiter had a great personality. There music play list is great. Dine in and out. Small menus in regards to food selection but food is really tasty. Good maps has their hours wrong. They are open on the weekends @ 11am -2:30pm then reopens for dinner @4pm
