While you are in that neck of the woods, I suggest a visit to the famous horticulturist home of Luther Burbank. It is just a mile away and has beautiful gardens and important history”

“Thanks for my friend for recommending this little gem of a restaurant. We stopped in just before noon during the week and had great service great food. We split a large breakfast burrito and had plenty of food. The wait staff was very accommodating about splitting our plate for us. Delicious coffee. Parking is a bit of a challenge because it's on a busy street and there is no street parking around the block. It is still worth your visit!”

“This place was an amazing surprise. We just ended up going here by accident and we're greeted by friendly people waiting to help. I ordered the clam chowder, as I do in most new seafood places I try. It was amazing with it's added ingredients. My girlfriend had a shrimp cocktail that turned into a prawn cocktail. I know it was great because she didn't share. We said we would only try one dish, she ended up wanting crab cakes and fries. The price was right and the service was great. I fully recoment this place.”

Maybe it's just temporary, I'll update the review again from my next visit. --- I almost passed this place up with the negative reviews.. I'm glad I did not! Granted I always pick the happy hours to come here.. (Hard to miss it, starts at 3:00p I think and it ends at 7 or 8) foods here is a solid 4 stars for me, I don't like the wings but the $2 tacos at happy hours more than enough made up for it! ¿Did I forget to mention michelada and complimentary chips, salsa and guac ? ;) check this place out!”

“This Denny's has had a interior refurbishment and is much more up to date. Now if they could just do something about the exterior. Especially that cracked window by the front door. That being said, the food was pretty good. I mean it's Denny's. They make a good breakfast and a pretty good burger. I just wish they had regular french fries. The sliced potato things they serve as fries are not crispy and just are not as good as regular french fries. All in all though a good place for a decent meal.”

“Quality is always good, the staff? Not so much. I would say that more than half of the time they won’t get my order right, I mean how hard is it to type in what I am asking for? They of course blame the people making the food, it’s not the cooks fault when the receipt shows the order taker messed it up. IF you can get what you actually ordered it’s good food at a reasonable price. Their loyalty club (totally free) entitles you to a free loaf of bread every month which is a nice perk if you love sourdough as much as I do.”

“Diamond in the Rough This place is in this tiny little shopping center next to a liquor store has an amazing menu, amazing customer service, and reasonable prices. I had a soy mocha with hazelnut and the Canadian Benedict. I came here from pics I saw of it and it was delicious. My friend had the Salmon Cobb salad with bleu cheese dressing and a coffee with hazelnut. He enjoyed both. I tasted it and it was good. We will definitely return! I highly recommend it.”

“This is a new favorite soup and sushi place. The modest menu presents some wonderfully delicious meals. My favorite is the spicy tuna roll. Until unagi is offered that is. The crispy chicken noodle soup, in a creamy soup, is rich and indulgent. The backless chairs were a surprise the first visit. The service is always friendly and prompt. Parking is shared with a Cattleman's steak house so, depending on the time you get there, there could be a problem. But there is a Coldstone around the corner. Prices are moderate and there is wheelchair access with tables to match.”
