Incredible natural wines and amazing food- go to the spot all of the winemakers drink at!
The redwood is one of the most exciting new restaurants in the Bay Area post pandemic. Veggie forward intensely flavored small plates that connect with their vibrant selection of by the glass wines.
A hidden gem with amazing service
Truly one of the best meals and wine I’ve had in a long, long time! Each bite of food and sip of wine was a unique experience. You can’t deny that a lot of care and love went into each dish and wine selected on this menu! Food was gently seasoned bringing attention to each high quality ingredient in front of you. Mmmm. The wine was adventurous and out of the ordinary. The service and staff were friendly and knowledgeable sharing excitement over the food and wine they were serving. I can’t wait to go back! Don’t miss this. LOVED it!!!
I happened to be Sebastopol this weekend and tried this brand-new restaurant and OH MY GOD I am so glad I did.
The restaurant serves a seasonal menu with unique natural wines. Each dish we ordered was consistently delicious and seemed to be crafted carefully. 10/10 would recommend. My only negative is that this restaurant isn’t in Seattle (where I am from). But I guess it means I’ll have to come back!
I highly recommend the dark chocolate crémeux. It was life changing!
This place, the food, the wine, it’s all damn incredible. The owners have clearly put so much intention to every detail of this menu. The space itself is very relaxing, and the staff are very attentive and well informed about the wine list and have a great understanding of the winemakers that they have on hand. Don’t sleep on the fried potatoes, duck liver mousse, and the lamb shank. I can’t wait to keep coming back here for years to come. Very excited to have a go to place for natural wine and incredible food.
Amazing! I have to admit I’m biased because I have been following the chefs at this restaurant for years, so I already knew I would love it, but oh my gosh, it was incredible! The wine selection is unique and meticulously curated. Every glass we tried perfectly hit the spot. And let’s not forget about the food!!! The citrus salad was a highlight but everything I put in my mouth was heavenly. Don’t skip dessert, the chocolate cremeux is perfection!
