This is the best place to try if you haven't been there yet.
Lots of IPAs and hop heavy choices plus some legendary specials.
I tried their Russian River Porter ale which was my favorite with a chocolate and coffee complexity I loved.
Their Reuben sandwich was outstanding and everyone enjoyed their food choices.
You can get lots of their hard to get choices to go in their gift shop but bring a cooler if possible to keep the taste perfect.
Pliny The Elder is my all-time Double IPA. The Holy Grail of this style. Supplication has become one of my most coveted sours. It is rare I'm in the area, but when I am Russian River Brewing Company is a must stop. The new Windsor location is quite the operation. The brewery proper was meticulous, well laid out, and filled with wonderful equipment. The self-guided tour was easy and perfect for a quick stop. I was able to purchase all the beer I wanted in the retail store, and some swag. I filled a growler of Elder and enjoyed a flight of samplers in the tasting room. I did not sit down for food, nor did I check out the beer garden. As this location ages, I suspect the atmosphere of the retail, tasting room, and restaurant will take on a less contrived vibe, and settle into a more down home, natural feel. I'll look forward to my next visit.
(Size does matter) This is no small brewery, this place is huge, and happy hour ALL DAY Sunday! Tours, gift shop, pub & eats with two bars and outdoor seating accommodating four legged companions too. Full sample tasters for about $25 and half for around $15 and when you’ve found your favorites generous and fun to go “jugs”. Food is better than the normal pub, with generous portions and plenty of starters and sides. Specialties and sours change often and the service is great. Plenty of parking (motorcycle too) and right off 101, great stop for a warm Windsor afternoon/evening.
Love the beer. Only piece of feedback, your website says your open till 10pm, however the gift shop was closed and the kitchen shutdown at 9:15 and we could not order anymore food or dessert. Would have been nice to have a heads up and given the opportunity to put in the last of our order. Our waitress did let us in to the gift shop which made the hour and half detour worth it.
First time to the new location! OMG so great. Love the building, landscape and multiple bars! Seating is plentiful and their outside is awesome! Could use some fire pits, and or heater lamps. The food is delicious!! Good big selection of food. Of course the beer is fabulous! There was a wine list, but that wasn't my interest this time. Overall great spot!!!
