A lovely lunch hosted by a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable host. We tried the Croque monsieur, the Creamy potato tourte and the Feuillete de jambon for 2. All delicious. Definitely going back!
DELICIOUS house made pate, clearly crafted with expertise and dedication. Can be bought to take away. Or enjoy this and other tasty French foods in a charming, casual restaurant setting. Highly recommended!
How can I say…….I was impressed with this restaurant. I really love it
Small/medium size very nice decor, confortable, and excellent service with one of the owners , Maud, I feel like I’m in a friend house, no in a restaurant
We have a different selection of pate , served with Dijon mustard, bread and Cornichon , OMG , home made, delicious
French style ham, house signature, also home made
Potato tart, layered thin sliced potatoes, crème fraiche and more , wrapped in a delicious buttery dough
Chocolate mousse, yes home made❤️😋
House recommended local Pinot Noir , excellent
Also they offering for sale a selection French and local wine, their own home made charcuterie and others products.
I tell you I will travel from San Jose to Windsor just to try more dishes
My compliments to chef Mar-Henri your cooking skills, experience and love are showing in your plates
MERCI BEAUCOUP
(Sorry for the food photos I was so exited to try the food that I forgot to take the pictures when the dish arrived to the table)
Delicious food in a beautiful setting! A perfect place for a lunch date. Very friendly and knowledgeable owners. Thank you!
If you're looking for a little taste of France without having to cross the pond, Maison Porcella is your spot. I recently attended one of their soirees and it was the epitome of decadence - optional champagne flights and Haute-Caviar, ooh la la! But even if you're just stopping in for a regular meal, the Feuilleté de Jambon is a must-try. The hand-made sliced ham, bechamel, and gruyere are layered to perfection and encased in a house-made puff pastry that's buttery and crispy in all the right ways. And don't get me started on the Parisian style pork ham - it's so melt-in-your-mouth delicious, you'll wonder if it's even real. And then there was the stracciatella cheese, which transported me back to time spent in Puglia. Maison Porcella, you had me at bonjour.
