Descent coffee, reasonable service. Nice, rustic atmosphere. Great for a relaxing afternoon, sipping coffee or having lunch.

The food is good here, but they have a tiny kitchen, so the surface is very slow. It's a great place to listen to live music on Sunday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. This establishment has long supported art and music, and is a Modesto gem.

We always enjoy visiting Cafe Deva when we are in Modesto’s downtown area. It’s on a busy street with limited parking, but we don’t usually have a problem finding a place. This small restaurant offers a wide array of nutritious sandwiches, salads, and beverages, and we’ve never been disappointed. You order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. Sometimes it takes a little time for the food to be prepared, but we think it’s worth the wait.
