Nice staff, clean restaurant and fast service. The food is lacking though and the menu is small.
Stopped in after a morning of pickle ball then a few lapse at Davis Park.
I didn't have breakfast and I was hot then decided to try out the new restaurant Cora near my house. It was Appetez then the Divine Swine now with a new owner it's called Cora's. It was a quiet afternoon inside the chill spot with an older crowd. Not my type of music but it matches the crowd.
Staff were nice and the place seemed pretty clean. I would like to go back after they expand their menu. Hopefully they will have more vegetarian options.
I really enjoyed the risotto cakes but hey anything mushrooms works for me. Lol.
The peach sangria was a sweet treat that helped me cool down. And the pear and praline Salad was also fruity and sweet. Maybe next time I ask for dressing on the side, my fault. The cheese, cranberries, spinach worked with the nuts. The diced pears a little too enhanced with spices for me but that's my palette. All in all I would go back, it's close, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, clean dining and bathroom. I'd like to see a seasoned meat alternative burger or option. Just a suggestion. Not sure if the dinner menu is different but I'll check it out later.
Cora rocks. Good drinks, good vibes, and amazing food. Everything is fresh and unique there. Definitely a gem much needed in Modesto. Will be back without a doubt.
I dont know what that lady below me is talking about (Sierra Celebrations). But let me tell you, fellow gourmands, Cora at Roseburg isn't just a restaurant, it's a portal to a flavor paradise. From the moment you step through the door, you're enveloped in an atmosphere that whispers promises of delectable delights.
The menu itself is a symphony of possibility. Each dish sounds like a poet's ode to ingredients, boasting succulent meats, glistening vegetables, and sauces so rich and luxurious, they must be the result of culinary alchemy.
My own experience was nothing short of ambrosial. Every bite was a revelation, a dance on the tastebuds between the nectareous whispers of exotic spices and the robust pronouncements of perfectly cooked proteins.
Let me just say, if you're searching for a meal that transcends the ordinary, a gustatory experience that will leave you weak in the knees and begging for more, then look no further than Cora at Roseburg.
