Las Uvas Restaurant

I came here with few friends to grab dinner and it did not disappoint. Ordered the empanadas, lomo saltado, and the ceviche. I have high expectations for Lomo Saltado and this by far exceeded those expectations! The meat was nice and tender and the fries had so much flavor from the sauce, the tomatoes weren’t overcooked and I ordered a side of rice that paired perfectly. The owner came out and greeted us so that was really nice. Ceviche was great and so were the empanadas! looking forward to coming back soon and seeing if they offer catering.

Also, the panna cotta was soooo good!

We can wait to come for dinner! We only came for a dessert since we heard they had tres leches. All the desserts tasted so fresh! The tres leches was to fluffy, airy, and moist, the powdered cinnamon looked intimidating but it balanced out the leches so well and the coconut panna cotta was absolutely delicious all made by the owners wife!! I absolutely recommend this restaurant they’re plates look delicious but we had just gotten dinner but we’re definitely coming back

Great new place, we had the Calamari, Lomo Saltado(steak), ceviche, empanadas, and the whole roasted chicken. Leave room for dessert. we also had the panna cotta and the tres leches cake they were amazing. Everything was so good. We can't wait to go back and try some more of the items on the menu

Wow!! They just opened and it’s now my new favorite spot in Modesto. The Calamri, Civeche and steak was amazing. They are family owned and I don’t know where they got their recipes or cooking skills but this place is way better than anywhere I’ve eaten in Modesto and I’ve eaten at all the fancy places downtown numerous times. Their prices are half of what you’d spend downtown. I wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars.

Love the updates to this place! Sweet, family friendly restaurant. We had the calamari, ceviche and a steak. Was all delicious and presentation was beautiful. Steak was cooked perfectly!
