“This place is without any question the single best Mexican food restaurant in Modesto. The food is phenomenal, the customer service just as good, and the the family-orientedness of this company is stellar. Called recently for a takeout order and was pleasantly greeted on the phone by the manager (Brian) who helped us make an otherwise "special" veggie burrito with some other orders as well. Food was absolutely delicious, everything tastes homemade or fresh, and all of the staff look like they enjoy being there... a pleasant surprise in this town. Javier is a wonderful businessman and family-oriented owner who takes pride in his business, and it shines in this place in the best kind of way. The stellar management, time/wait for food, quality of the dish, and customer service, and location makes this place our favorite Mexican restaurant in the 209. We love this place and will keep coming back and will be happy to spread the word.”

We ordered, stepped over to fix two drinks and before we could fill our cups, our food was ready! It was hot and well made, not sloppy with cheese or sauce running out. We had a good visit!”

I have finally found the hidden treasure.. yes it's a taco truck (downside) out in the open. Not that much seating just a couple of benches but at first it might seem ridiculous but I promise you once you get the first bite you'll forget about EVERYTHING! Everything is good but the specialty is the Tacos. You might not like all types of meat depending on your preference but spicy pork is the outta world experience! Highly recommend. If it's your first time I recommend that you ask for let's say 5 tacos on each type of meat and make a conclusion. After that every weekend you'll be Happy :) guaranteed”

“This location, formerly Mi Pueblo Food Market, is a popular, well stocked store which carries Hispanic brands, fresh fruits, produce, full service meat and seafood counter to have your choice of pork, beef, and poultry meats cut and trimmed to order, dairy department, hot food to eat in or take out, and a large assortment of Mexican pastries baked in-house. We went in after 4:30 p.m. to buy fried whole tilapia for dinner, but they only had two left and they do not fry fish from the seafood case. Although the lines were long, as only a few registers were open, the wait time was about 10-15 minutes. Overall, I limit my visits due to the occasionally full parking lot, but I do appreciate a well stocked store with great products and will definitely be returning.”
