Dickeys Barbecue Pit

Had a great off the cuff experience with my family here today. Would definitely be the place to go to kick back with some BBQ in a relaxed atmosphere.

We swung by and met some family here after some appointments we had in Modesto, and being my first time here, I felt it as a great first impression! The employees were great, and very patient with us when we were deciding on our order. They gave us a nice mix of the sauces to go with our order too: sweet, spicy, and original. (I'd have to say my favorite is a tie between the original and the sweet.)

We split the family plate between the 4 of us and ordered brisket as our main choice of meat. It wasn't a massive portion, but after splitting the two sides and meat into 4s, and then eating it along with our drink and bread roll, I'd say we were all pretty satisfied overall.

We followed things up with some soft serve ice cream cones, which awesomely enough are on the house! Great choice for little ones, or even in general after a nice meal, or maybe too much spicy BBQ sauce lol. Be sure to check out the nice plastic cups they give you with a drink order. Always a cool take away souvenir to remind you to eat there next time you're in the mood for some quick BBQ.

My first time ever trying Dickey's....and let me tell you, I WAS BLOWN AWAY!!! EVERYTHING was on point from the time I entered till the time I left! Eric was amazing. Couldnt ask for a better server. And now for the food, OMG it is delicious, finger licking good. I definitely will be back, and soon. Y'all just gained a loyal customer!!!

Pork was great. Sides are great too, just a little too small for the price. Good bit of meat, but kinda let down by the small coleslaw. Staff was great!

Dickey’s is a must go to. The service is always pleasing and the food is always great. I recently went this past Tuesday afternoon and was helped out by two amazing gentlemen, which I believe were Juan and the other one was Julien. The two made me feel so welcomed.

I went to dickeys today and i had the best experience from Juan and Iesha. They told me what they recommend and the food was delicious. I've been to other dickeys before and this is by far my favorite. Great food, good layout, and wonderful staff. 10/10 recommend.
