Texas Roadhouse

Very busy, which is to be expected on a Sunday afternoon, however front of house service could have been better. Our wait time was 20-25 min for a party of 2. Ended up being closer to 50 min before we were seated. Wait time was not updated via text or by the host - had to inquire myself repeatedly. Host/other front staff were more interested in talking to each other or looking at screens than interacting w/ customers. There were many people waiting for lengthy amounts of time--again, Sunday at a new place, to be expected. But not once did I hear apologies for the inconvenience, or even "would you like a pack of peanuts while you wait?" or anything even welcoming. Mostly the staff seemed to be standing in lines behind each other waiting to be told what to do - looked like mainly teenagers who for sure need more customer service training.

The food was mostly good when we finally ordered. Steak was a little dry for medium rare and the baked potato was dry / not well-dressed. Other than that, good meal for the price.

I wanted to have something new and tasty.
So I went on the 3rd day of OPENING week. And the food, and atmosphere was great.
The employees was very welcoming and kind. And the service was spot on.
For being just open for 3 days, everyone worked together very well.
I am so glad Turlock finally got a TEXAS ROADHOUSE restaurant.
You can tell it’s going to be a hit for years to come!! 5 Stars on the service, 5 Stars on the very helpful and friendly employees.

Took us an hour and half to get our food very long wait to get a table even though we checked in online all of our steaks were cooked wrong but those potato skins were excellent they just opened so I'll update on my next visit the manager comped some of our bill but just the wait was too much to just receive our food wrong. My steak posted was way over cooked no juices underneath or in the steak but we will give them another chance.

Today was my mother in law 60th birthday. She wanted to try Texas Road house for the first time... ever! Hosts were waiting with smiling faces in a line at the door. WOW! Our waiter Jeffrey had outstanding service! Very attentive, courteous and happy. Such a big smile 😀 Jeffrey went above and beyond to make sure our drinks were never empty. Very personable. Margaritas were amazing and the food was delicious. My mother in law said that her rib eye was the best she's ever had! Thank you for a very memorable visit. We appreciate you!
