“I've never ever been to a Black Bear diner but I've always heard good things. Took my daughter this morning for her birthday (every year my kids pick where they want to eat on their birthdays) and it was great. They have servers and waitresses out there running around and they are very attentive. The food is good, I had the skillet and my daughter had a breakfast sandwich. Good size portions and our food was out in about 10 minutes. Our waitresses was great, very easy to talk to and very nice. I'll definitely go back here again.”

“A nice spot. The owner is friendly, and helpful. I ate the Pulled Pork sandwich. It was flavourful. 5 BBQ sauces are available. Each is sooo great, though, personally, the spicy one has quite a bite to it! The baked beans were fantastic! A little cupcake came along with the meal. It was soft, and delicious. Overall an excellent lunch!”

Wait was less than 10 minutes and it was cool to be able to see them cook everything through the windows. “Mariscos al ????. Duuuudes. We’ve been here twice in the first week since we first found this place thanks to a suggestion from Google Maps. The best seafood, Culiacán Sinaloa style. Being from Jalisco their shrimp cocktail threw me for a loop w/ the flavor and lack of ketchup/cocktail sauce but holy shittttttttt it smacks. Shrimp & Pulpo ???? (octopus) cocktail: 12/10 The shrimp is huuuuuge. They don’t skimp out on the pulpo o camarones, bigger than my fingers! Great flavor, and very attentive to detail (I said no onion, someone at my table no cilantro they followed). The mojarras ???? (fried full fish) are amazing. In a week we’ve ordered more than 4. So good, full of flavor and nice and crispy yet so juicy. Super generous w/ limes too, they give you at least 4, and super juicy! Their El Gobernador Tacos are so good, nice crispy freshly hand made tortillas stuffed w/ shrimp, pico & lettuce. Two will fill you up, one hits the spot if you’re ordering anything else. Lastly, their rice (includes corn) and beans (peruano I think bc they were gueritos? But my mom says pinto w/ milk?) are fresh and full of flavor, I straight up order a side of beans w/ a coctel (super weird, I know.) Chips and salsa (spicy molcajete) are also served! Edit: Service was great!”

“Today was my first time visiting this eatery and I was not disappointed! The first thing I noticed was the smell of good food. The flavors of their amazing food - I had the Cucavo Salad with a red onion garnish and my wife had the California Club Spinach Wrap - was decadent and my Might Apple Ginger Smoothie was very refreshing and satisfying, too. The interior of the store compliments the menu with a simple, clean decor which adds nicely to the relaxing feel of their establishment. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great tasting, healthy well prepared food as alternative to junky fast food!!”
