    As a former Chef and restaurant owner I always love to try little family owned restaurants but am often disappointed buy packaged gravey mix and premade made frozen food.
    NOT HERE, these people know how to make make food from scratch and hands down the best chicken fried steak and gravey I have had in the US, well since mine,, :). Worth the drive from Chico or Red Bluff. Come and check it out.

    Every time I come here, I always love the food. It's a cozy little restaurant that's for sure. The only thing I feel I'm missing here, is attentive staff. The last couple times I've been here the place only has a few tables with people and yet my waitress goes missing for ten or fifteen minutes. Other than that, I do really like the place.
