We were seated immediately upon entering at 4:45 in the bar at a high top. We did not have reservations. We were asked immediately if we wanted water and a few minutes later drink orders were taken. We ordered two mixed drinks which both were overly powerful but not with alcohol but with lime and ginger. Then we ordered the empanadas, beet salad, and the braised board. The food began arriving but we did not have plates or silverware or napkins. We waited several minutes for this. The empanadas were delicious. The beet salad was not worth its price. The Braised board was a little small but good. Then we ordered french fries the cauliflower, the asparagus, and the brussel sprouts. The brussels sprouts were mushy. The others were good. We also ordered the lobster cannelloni and the specialty pizza. The lobster cannelloni was disappointing. The specialty pizza was delicious. We also ordered an iced tea and it was not great. At a place like this and at these prices, I expect to be wowed. None of the 4 of us were wowed at all.

Great food and even better service! The atmosphere is great for a night out on the town and super friendly.

First, let’s talk atmosphere! Beautifully decorated, lighting was perfect, and pleasant. Hostess Rebekah was super warm and welcoming. Server Gwen did a great job making sure we were well taken care of. We ordered the EmpanadaTrio (the shrimp one is the best!), Smokehouse Pizza, Bacon Burger, Salmon, and another pizza. Everything we ordered was great! Peach cobbler for dessert was delicious! Can’t wait to go back to try the Brussel sprouts, surf and turf appetizer and so much more!! Lastly, the drinks. Ohhhh the drinks!! Perfect blend of flavors while still light and refreshing! Try the Strawberry Fizz! Bar master Elliot will not only make you an amazing drink but provide a little entertainment as well! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We made reservations for a party of 5. The bartender and drinks are amazing. Appetizers were the empanadas and calamari. These were fantastic. The table ordered a variety of entrees. The dish with rabbit was great, as well as the short ribs, steaks, and the vegetable sides. Vegetables were cooked perfectly and not over done. All of the plating was beautiful. The service was superb for a soft opening with a restaurant full of guests. I can’t wait for them to expand their hours and their menu.

I'll give it 4 stars in expectation they'll soon live up to it. Being as they've only been open 4 days it's tough to be too critical. Concept is good, but execution isn't nearly there. 1hr between drinks, unacceptable. Chorizo burger was charred to a crisp, flavorless and served cold. Ribeye was awful (seriously) wasnt even seared. Boiled perhaps?. Short rib was ok, but like everything we tried on the menu, no flavor or depth, and a desperate lack of SALT. Overall food was quite bland and under seasoned but hopefully once staff settles in, it will get better. Desserts were hit or miss. Tiramisu was the winner, Maccaron is a no go, rice pudding had the right texture but no flavor at all except for a light dusting of cinnamon on top(3 of 4 people at the table had no interest beyond the 1st bite). Price for 4 people was $430 so you're looking at around $100/hd. For that type of money, this place has a LOT of work to do. Bus staff was on point, water glasses were continuously filled, which was needed waiting 1hr for drinks. Waitress was very friendly and personable, even if continually M.I.A. We'll give it some time, but we'll try again. Restaurant is beautiful, menu concept is great. I'm hoping they dial in the flavor and service over time as Tulare desperately needs the Restaurant they aspire to be. Happy to have them in town and reluctant to be this critical, but thought they should hear some real feedback.
