The food was good but the best part of our dining experience had more to do with a young lady who works there named Victoria.
As we ate, we watched a elderly person come in, struggling to walk & pick out her food. Before we could go help her, Victoria stopped what she was doing, came over to this person and spent time helping her pick out her food, getting her drink, helping her to her seat and we heard her tell this person "when you're ready for more wave to me and I'll come help you again"!
It was enough to make you cry!
Rarely do you see this happen today, a young person (or ANY ONE) going out of their way to show kindness to someone they don't even know!
Hometown Buffet is lucky to have you Victoria, you are a very special young lady!

I love this place but it is expensive and now they are charging for their drinks. I had a gastric bypass so I don't get to eat very much food. And they won't give me a discount since I've had gastric bypass. But when you want to have a variety of food I highly recommend HomeTown Buffet. Call ahead and see if they have ribs. They are so tender the meat just peels off. And of course you can have as much as you want. The night we went they even had steak. But I didn't want steak. I wanted ribs ribs ribs. I sure enjoyed my meal what little I got to eat. If you haven't eaten here you definitely have to go but make sure you have lots of money in your pocket or on your card. I think dinner is like $15. And if you get Maria as your waitress she is fantastic she has been there for 13 years. Tell her Doreen sent you. This way she will learn my name.

Great food. Wonderful atmosphere. Very clean. The employee's are awesome very happy and energetic. Only thing that I do not like to see is the employee's looking like they are going to break their back or have back problems due to the broom handles being so short, as a former employee at 5* restaurant this is unacceptable. The following info I just provided is why I'm rating 4 out of 5 stars. As a valuable customer of Hometown buffet I would like too see changes.

Great service thank you so much Maria for the welcoming home feeling. The food is always great unfortunately the ice cream machine was down and it seemed super understaffed. But the staff here are super upbeat and do what they can when asked. My wife and daughter had never been to a hometown buffet and Maria made it for us all. Thank you again.

I have been to lunch here many times. The person at the register is always pleasant, the food is always good and hot, and the cleanliness is pretty good too. The atmosphere is very inviting as well. The only negative I have is lack of tennetivness by the wait staff. It is nice that they are not overbearing however when eating with a group the table tends to get crowded with empty dishes so it would be nice for them to come around and collect more often. Overall very good place.
