It was a lovely stay! Very nice and clean! The food at the restaurant was very good! Everything on the menu was good. It is family-friendly with slides and zip-lines. It is a well thought out hotel. I will absolutely stay there again!
We had a blast here. My kids loved the zip lines and all the games, there was always something to do. The staff were super friendly, and they gave us a free upgrade. We will definitely be back.
Honestly, I expected this place to look good in pictures but not be so great upon arrival. There's something about lodgings near areas that get a lot of tourism that has them putting a lot of work in to look flashy without backing it up.
But this place was amazing. A lot of hotels will look good when you first walk into the room and then fail with the small things. Like doors that don't close quite right, worn down paint in the corners, etc. Rush Creek got that down though, at least in the room we stayed in. Things were in great, great, shape.
I don't really rate things highly on that, and it's not even what made us enjoy our stay so much. It was the people who were working there. Every employee we encountered was amazingly helpful, courteous, and friendly. Even if we show up again, cause we will be going back, and things aren't quite in such tip top shape, as long as they still have the excellent staff, we will be pleased.
Keep up the amazing work and stay safe with all the fires goin aroun Rush Creek folks.
Lots of walks but its worth it to get to the hidden spots!
Nestled in Stanislaus National Forest before the entrance to Yosemite sits Rush Creek Lodge. The rooms are nice and all come with a sofa bed and no TVs, but board games instead. This lodge is great for families with kids, but also nice for adults thanks to things like the poolside bar and grill, and lots of different hiking and biking trails around the lodge. Recommend and would definitely stay here again. Some other perks are the game room and everything we tried at the restaurant was delicious!
