Sonora Thai Cuisine

While food heat has been tempered to US tastes the flavors were reminiscent of our Thailand dining experiences. Chili sauce & flakes available on request to add some zing. Lunch serving size more than adequate to have leftovers. Will return often.

We were spending the weekend in Jamestown and decided to go and visit Sonora. This was the first time that we have been in town and it is a nice place. We will definitely come back again. Went to this restaurant also for the first time and it's a nice clean restaurant. The waitress was attentive and we ordered our food and it did not take long to get it. We ordered about six different dishes and every one of them was excellent. We will definitely come back to this restaurant whenever we come back in town.

I'm no connoisseur of Thai food, but of what I've had, this beats the places I ate at in the Bay Area. Ceylon tea is delicious hot and unsweetened and probably great in the traditional sweet Thai Tea. The soup and food had a distinctly unique sea taste that I really liked. Not just the standard salty dish broth – very light, very flavorful. And the curry was also excellent. We cleaned our plates. Oh, and we were terrible people arriving just 10 minutes before close. They were kind enough to stay open. Our waitress was excellent. Polite, attentive, but also didn't hover or come around too often. Overall look forward to coming back!

Great little restaurant with a good selection of Thai food. While the portions are a bit on the small side, the flavors and quality is great. Staff is friendly. Parking on the street is limited, but a public parking lot is just across the street behind the restaurant.

All I can say is YUM YUM!! You won't be disappointed.. We are so glad we tried them out.. The Food is Amazing.. Can't wait to go back????
