Their food is good. Tri tip is soft not dry at all. Baby back ribs is good too. Just beef ribs were a bit dry and burn.
I asked for the sauce on the size so I can control how much sauce I want to eat.
Service is always good here.

This is the best!!! Two locations in Ventura County - one on Mondalvo & one on Oxnard. Both are excellent but the Oxnard location is closest to us. Try it if you southern cooking - ribs, links, catfish, chicken & all of the sides including collar d greens, mac & cheese, potato salad, killer green beans - and some of the best berry or peach cobbler that Momma never made!!!

Had the tri-tip sandwich with fries. Both were delicious. Food was ready fast didn't have to wait long. Easy access from the road with plenty of parking. Will definitely go back.

I ordered a chicken breast and tri-trip plate; was not disappointed with the taste. I wasn't impressed with the bean and rice side dish--but that's not a huge deal, beans are hard to get right. Overall the quality was very good and the prices were about fair. Staff was friendly and kept the place clean and organized. If you can part with a few bucks and don't feel like dragging out the grill, this is a solid choice.

I haven't tried this place until recently, so far I haven't had a bad experience here. So far the ribs, tri-tip, and hamburger have been great! Also the BBQ sauce is good! Of course the menu has a lot more to offer. Definitely a place to check out also open later then all the other BBQ places in town ????
