Smokin’ Jay’s BBQ & Hot Chicken

First of all the food is very good, it was my second time eating there. I ordered the chicken tenders with the death level, let me say I thought I was going to go into convulsions. I'm pretty tough with spicy food, but that's ridiculous hot. I had my mouth under the faucet for 5 minutes. Next time I'll stick to the mild.

I ordered the heat level Death on the Nashville Hot Chicken and they didn't disappoint. My eyes were wide with terror and regret. I was leaking sweat. I thought they were being fun with the name Death. They were not. You guys, an attempt was made on my life using this sandwich! Also, pro tip: wash your hand before using the bathroom or touching your eyes after handling this sandwich.
5 stars for being exactly as the name implies. Next time I'm coming back with humility.

Amazing food. Big portions. Best hot chicken ever. This place is truly for those who like to eat delicious food.

This is our second time there. The first time we literally got the wrong items. Didn't realize until we reviewed the receipt that the order taker maybe misheard us and input something else? The food was good nonetheless, so we didn't complain. Decided to try again...ordered and then was told the item was sold out while we were waiting. We chose something else...and then was told after a few minutes that it too, was sold out. We decided to get refunded instead of trying to find something else. We understand it's probably growing pains. Food is good. We're looking forward to the kinks being ironed out in the future.

Don't get the spicy if you can't handle it, but if you can is absolutely great. Crunchy, yummy, saucy.
