Sushi was absolutely fresh. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and prompt. We met the owner Jin. A very warm and humble man. We will definitely be going back and recommending this place to everyone who wants delicious authentic Japanese food.

Very authentic & very delicious! Extremely generous portion on the eel tomago donburi, perfect for sharing, & the poached egg was perfectly cooked. The sashimi & tuna roll was very fresh & delicious. The fry on the squid legs were perfect, a light & crispy batter, the slightly spicy dipping sauce was also great. Izakaya Jin even has a happy hour from 5-6:30pm (I believe Tuesday to Saturday? I wish I got a picture of the Happy Hour Menu). The owner was very friendly; it took a little bit of extra time before getting our dessert (the yuzu & matcha cheesecake set), so he offered us hot tea while we waited. The cheesecakes w/ the honey & fruit were so good & beautifully presented. There were so many items we wanted to try, can’t wait to come back. So lucky to have this restaurant so close to us!

Probable our new favorite restaurant in the area. Try the lunch special and you'll get a good idea of what they have to offer. Overall their cuisine uses more traditional ingredients like kelp and burdok root. I apreciate this and would like to see more restaurants doing likewise. Also, I could instantly tell that they make their sauce from scratch. Thank you and continue to let your cooks shine!

This gem is my new go spot to for authentic Japanese food. The quality of the sushi and seared fish in my Bento box was superb! The seared fish fillet had a flavorful glaze and is much bigger than it looks in the picture. I wound up needing a take out box. The fried chicken was very juicy and tender.  The miso soup served before the main meal had generously large pieces of tofu and seaweed. I wasn't able to get a picture of the delicious Miso as me and my boyfriend ate it too fast. The price is reasonable for the quality and amount of food you receive. The service was fast and our waitress kindly answered all our questions about the Menu.

Whether your already a fan of Japanese food or looking to explore a new cuisine this place is a must! The delicious taste and quality of the food is reminiscent of what you can find when visiting Japan.

If you're in the mood for some authentic Japanese cuisine then you found the right place. Izakaya Jin is unique from the other sushi restaurants in the county by offering Izakaya-style food, in addition to the more familiar Japanese dishes like sushi (nigiri, rolls, and sashimi) and udon/soba. The 'Izakaya' part of it's name definitely rings true here, you just want to stay to eat and sample every dish, and find the right pairing of Japanese beers/spirits with your meals.

I had the chicken curry and it was delicious and was much more flavorful than any other curries I had in this county. You'll definitely get to explore the greater complexity of flavors a Japanese curry can have here at Izakaya Jin.

Overall, this is my new favorite Japanese restaurant in the county and am looking forward to visiting again soon. I'll definitely want to try their sushi next time.
