ZEF BBQ

I've been wanting to try Zef BBQ for a while, but I work Saturdays and get off after pick up time. This last Saturday, my daughter was off work and we decided that I'd order and she'd pick up. Win-win.

We had the pulled pork, brisket, burnt ends, charro beans, elote corn salad, and fuku pickles as well as a quart of bbq sauce. OMG. The food was fantastic. My particular favorite was the burnt ends pork belly. I could eat that all day. The beans were the right amount of spicy. The corn salad was refreshing. The pickles had a little zing to them and just enough sweet. The brisket and pulled pork were delicious. My only problem was that I should have ordered more.

Is it a little pricey? Yes, but we'll worth it. And you are supporting a local business. Simi lacks in quality food so we always try to support our local gems. One day, we want to try the Sunday pop-up stop. We will definitely order again. Thanks, Zef BBQ for an amazing meal.

Definitely worth every penny, the food was just as good as eating at a michelin star restaurant. To bad you have to order on Wedensday at 10 just so you can pickup Saturday. They allow no walk ins only pre orders. Pre orders also sell fast almost instantaneously. They release the weekly menu Tuesday and pre orders start at 10am on Wedensday on Tock's platform. The food is worth the hassle. I highly recommend you try this restaurant
